Life Enrichment Series

The Life Enrichment Series is a special interest program for our residents 55 years of age and older,  sponsored by the New London Senior Affairs Commission and the New London Senior Center. The goal of the program is to offer occasional evening events on a variety of topics and life-style interests suggested by the older adults in our community. For the upcoming program schedule and for more information please contact Karen Paul, Chair of the New London Senior Affairs Commission (KarenAnnePaul@gmail.com), or call our senior center (860-447-5232).

The Senior Affairs Commission, whose members are appointed by the City Council, studies the conditions and the needs of the older adults in this community in relation to housing, economic status, employment, health, transportation, recreation and other matters.  The Senior Affairs Commission analyzes the services for the aged provided by the community by both public and private agencies, and makes recommendations to the city council regarding the development and integration of public and private agencies in cooperation with the state and other services to the extent possible. The commission meets the fourth Friday at 1:00 p.m., at the New London Public Library.

Our sincerest thanks to all local, state and federal organizations who provide free health education to our seniors in New London! We truly appreciate your time and expertise!
