Vice and Narcotics Section

The Vice & Narcotics Section (VNS) handles cases regarding narcotics, prostitution, and quality-of-life crimes. VNS works in conjunction with specialized units from the Connecticut State Police as well as the United States Department of Justice.



The VIS hotline number can be found below. All calls made to the hotline will be kept strictly confidential.

GOAL: To continue working on the investigation, apprehension, and prosecution of illegal narcotic drug dealers and users, and to persist in the effort to rid New London of persons and crimes associated with illegal drug activities. They will further continue their efforts in stopping any and all illegal vice activities, such as prostitution, illegal gambling, and weapons possession.
