Match Fund overview:
Sustainable CT, a nonprofit
organization that runs a municipal certification program to support and promote
towns to take action to be come more sustainable, equitable, and vibrant, has
recently launched a new funding program, the Community Match Fund. This is a
fast, flexible, low-barrier funding resource, through which Sustainable CT
provides a dollar-for-dollar match to support sustainability projects. The
Match Fund has no deadlines, no tedious application to fill out, and no lengthy
review period. The program is open to anyone in New London, meaning that
municipal officials, schools, nonprofits, community groups, and individuals can
all propose projects and access the funding. For anyone interested in learning
