4/19/2024 - Public Service Notice - Eversource Asst. On Electric Bill

Act now to keep your service on

Dear Eversource Customer,

As of the date of this letter, you have a past due balance, and if you do not take action, your service is at risk of being shut off. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020, customers with a financial hardship or who are medically protected with a serious illness have been protected from shut off. However, shut offs will begin again on May 2, 2024.

We can help you keep your service on and reduce the amount you owe with a payment plan. Please see the enclosed insert Programs to Help to find the best option for you. These plans charge no interest, and all customers qualify at least once for one or more of these plans.

We’re Here to Help.

The most important thing you can do is call us at 800-286-2828 or visit eversource.com/billhelp. We can work together to find the right program or option to help you pay your bill and keep your service on.

Your local Community Action Agency can also help you. Visit 211CT.org to connect with your agency.

Please Take Action Now

If you do not enroll in a payment plan or pay your balance in full, you will receive a written notice that your service is scheduled to be shut off. This will be the last communication you receive in advance of that notice.

Sincerely,

Eversource Customer Service
