The arrest log, with basic "arrest record" information, is available for public inspection twenty-four hours per day. More specific queries regarding police incidents/information must be directed to the PIO.
If you have any questions regarding ongoing police incidents, or if you are a member of the news media requesting to be added to the distribution list for the daily arrest logs and/or press releases, please contact the PIO at 860-437-6373. For information regarding police reports or crime statistics, please contact the Records Section by telephone at 860-447-5282.
Routine press releases designed to provide routine information such as traffic enforcement efforts, new police programs, crime prevention, etc. are approved by the PIO prior to release. These can be found on our Facebook page:
